Little is done to tie the images or mechanics with the 'Alice' theme which is a missed opportunity.A puzzle game without standard shaped pieces is an fine concept but the inability to look at the entire collection of pieces at once can lead to a lot of loss time if the shuffle provides pieces without any adjacent to the placed ones on the board.. A fairly basic jigsaw puzzle game based around Alice in Wonderland. Ultimately this game should probably be about half or even a third of its current length with all the time saved in making a huge number of levels put in to making better art, better piece selection, less stressful mechanics, etc. The game becomes extremely grindy, especially if you want to get all the trophies. (One of which requires 1,000,000 points from a game that gives maybe a maximum of 4,000 points per level usually closer to 3,000...)You might only play something like Glass Masquerade for a fraction of the time you could play this game, but its a joy to go through the whole game. This... sadly isnt.. Excellent game! I only wish there were more games of this type available on Steam!. If you like textured puzzles this is really well done.For those who don't want the puzzles to be timed you go to settings and turn off the timer and play in relaxed mode and still get the same achievements. What I find important to remember is that it IS a puzzle - more than a jigsaw. Some one mentioned in the comments that often it gives you pieces that don't have an obvious fit. That is true - the only thing is, they probably DO fit somewhere it just isn't obvious. AND streight sides do NOT mean edge. So the challange is to find where they do fit. Every edge is unique, and sometimes you need to be able to see where the lines should go to find the right perfect fit. This is a beautiful unique well-thought out game with lots of small but polished features such as each set is made from an different material (wood, cloth, metals, etc. ) there are different sounds to when the peice goes in for each set, and perspective is sometimes important in working out the puzzles. And very family friendly. All in all a great little game.. At first I didn't like this game, mainly because I kept failing in getting 3 keys in a level. Pretty soon I realised that with each replay you get better and faster, and ended up playing several hours in my first session. You also get to keep all the money you've earned during the failed attempt and then use it to buy extra time on your next replay.I think "earning money to buy extra time" is very good feature. Even if you're a complete moron, you can get 3 keys in all levels. Just grind for money and buy yourself some more time. The amount of grinding required is of course directly proportional to your level of moronness.I recommend this, even if you're a moron.. I love mosaics and this game is perfect for me. Very beautiful, colorful and challenging. Really enjoying it. I recommend!!!10/10
